Development of the car with the EV system or Electric Vehicle continue to do. Mitsubishi Motors, as one of the developers, has now step further rather than the other. If other producers are still in the process of development, Mitsubishi has announced it is launching its EV-car, Mitsubishi i MiEV.
Mitsubishi i MiEV first announced in October 2006. Mitsubishi i MiEV represent the peak of the "green technology" Mitsubishi Motors. Currently, the i MiEV activities involved testing and promotion in Japan, New Zealand, the United States, and Europe. According to the plan, the car was launched in Japan in the summer of 2009.
I MiEV is currently being pilot phase. If you are getting positive results, the vehicle was introduced in the European market after 2010.
